Gamle Nes Hallingdals oldest town
Gamle Nes, in Nesbyen, was the main administration centre for officials in Hallingdal in the early 1800s. Here you will find a pleasant town centre with different building styles from earlier centuries. 
Torpo Stave Church

To begin with, Hallingdal had seven stave churches. Today, Torpo Stave Church is the oldest and only original stave church left in Hallingdal. 
Sima Power Station
One of Europe's largest hydropower stations. 
The mountain farm of Kjeåsen lies like an eagle's nest half-way up the vertical mountainside. 
Flåm Railway

Borgund Stave Church
